At the recommendation of Rennae, I found Picnik. It's an easy to use photo editor and so I've been having a little bit of fun with it. Here are a couple of collages of the loc journey so far!

See you in a few!

Looking nice. Have you noticed much shrinkage as yet?

Thanks! I noticed the shrinkage when they were first installed but nothing since then. Waiting for it. . .

Do you have an idea of what products you would use when you start to wash/re-loc on your own? There are so many on the market. I'm going to try what my loctician uses, but am willing to use other stuff too.
One thing I don't like is when my scalp itches. Do you have that problem? Was told to try a peppermint shampoo. I know Carol's Daughter has one. But, also came across one by Dark and Lovely today. Oh, the Witch Hazel helps a bit. But a friend of mine uses Seabreeze.

I'm going with Joie MyGel which my loctitian uses. I've been happy with the hold and no flaking!

I've been fortunate re: scalp itching. I have not experienced any so far. I do have the witch hazel on stand-by but I think I will use it to clean my scalp. I've heard that peppermint or green tea shampoo can help.

What does your loctitian use for re-twisting?

She uses Jamaican Mango and Lime Loc Gel, not sure I want to use it when I'm ready to do the whole shabang on my own. I'll check for the Joie MyGel here in Barbados, don't think we retail it here.

Next time I go to her, I'm not going to pin it up. Want to see what it looks like out.

I was checking your other blog on eating right. I NEED HELP! Lord, knows I do. Not the best at training and eating well. But got to try.
